Best Practices for Analytical Systems

Abstract: In the last ISA Analysis Division in Abu Dhabi – we addressed the challenges, issues and best practices in specific Analyzer applications in CO2 and Sulfur Removals in Ethylene, Gas, NGL Fractionation plants. There was a great interest from the delegates and participants on these type of discussions – as we were addressing the real life problems that they have been facing in their plants and offering solutions and best practices.

In the forthcoming ISA Analysis Division event – we intend to cover more such applications in Petrochemicals, Refineries and Gas plants like Ethylene Cracker, Flaring Incident reduction by using correct analyzers, H2 Fired Heaters, Increasing reliability on Polymerization GCs etc.

The discussions will focus on – the current issues on measurements and applications, how we have made the Process Analyzer provide reliable analysis results and help to push the operating conditions and envelopes closer to the optimal set points – in order to increase the productivity and efficiency, product quality and safety.
