Nagarajan Venkataraman

Since joining Borouge in 2000, Nagarajan has worked in various positions in IT & Maintenance. Presently working as Department manager for Automation & Control, is responsible for maintenance, life cycle management and development of new automation systems, analyzers, Fire & gas systems etc., Before joining Borouge in 2000, he worked with Honeywell for 12 years in India and UAE. In Honeywell Nagarajan developed local technical assistance centers, managed projects and after sales support. Prior to this, between 1984-1989, he worked for Leeds & Northrup affiliate in India.

Manmohan Sreedhar

Eng. Manmohan Sreedhar works as the Technical Integrity Department Manager at ADNOC Distribution and is currently responsible for Asset Integrity and implementing the company’s Energy Management System.

He has over 30 years of experience in almost all technical aspects of oil and gas distribution across the entire project lifecycle ranging from Engineering and Design, Construction, Operations & Maintenance. During the last 15 years with Adnoc Distribution, he was involved with various projects such as the Inter-Refinery-Pipeline projects and the Hamriyah Depot project besides various other brown field projects. Prior to joining ADNOC, he has worked with Indian Oil Corporation, a Fortune 500 company on many major cross-country pipeline projects and the associated depots and terminals.

His focus at present is on several initiatives that will lead to tangible improvement in energy efficiency of the fuels distribution and retailing business

Khalid Omar Abdulla

Instrument Engineering Team Leader, Plant Availability Division

Mr. Khalid is Instrument Engineering Team Leader at ADNOC FERTILIZERS & has 18 years of experience.
He has multi-disciplinary experience and includes subjects from various division such as Operations, Technical Integrity, HSE and HR. He is responsible for the field Instrumentation and control systems. He is leading the Instrumentation day to day work for developing and maintaining the plant operationally and the production. His career at ADNOC Fertilizers has progressed from trainee developee to Instrument team leader through various divisions which include Instrument (Plant Availability), Projects, then Training and Career development and finally as Instrument Engineering Team Leader in Plant Availability division.
Khalid holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic of Technology from Abu Dhabi Men’s College.

25 years of experience in Automation, Telecommunication, Telemetry, Operational Technology-OT Security, Digitalization and Project Management. More than 20 years in Oil and Gas industry. Managing the development of Operation Technology – OT cyber security strategy and framework. Leading the implementation of OT cyber security initiatives including assessments, projects planning, design and implementation to protect critical infrastructure.

Eisa Salem Saeed Al Jenaibi

Eissa is the Energy Optimization & Management Department Manager at ADNOC Gas Processing. He has over 14 years of experience in the company and has held different managerial and engineering positions in the areas of maintenance, energy optimization and environment protection. He has led numerus energy efficiency strategic initiatives at ADNOC level and ADNOC Gas Processing with significant impact on energy performance improvement and systems advancement. Eissa has a Master’s Degree HRM from Abu Dhabi University and Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Arizona.

Anwar Shareef Khader is a Bachelor in Chemistry with more than 17 years of experiences in oil and gas construction, commissioning and operation plants in the field of health, safety and environment (KSA & UAE). He is holding a NEBOSH international Diploma in Occupational health and Safety. He is practicing with operational safety, certified OHSAS Lead Auditor, certified 50001 Energy Management Lead Auditor. Currently working with ADNOC Industrial Gases as HSE Specialist.

Khalfan Mohamed Al Abdouli

Performance and Reliability Advisor (Instrument and Control)

Khalfan Mohamed Al Abdouli is the Performance and Reliability advisor (Instrument and Control) at Abu Dhabi Gas Liquefaction Company Ltd – ADGAS having obtained his bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering from Khalifa University in 2007 and joined ADGAS in the same year. In 2011 Khalfan obtained a master degree in Engineering management from university of Wollongong.

A technical expert with 9 years’ experience, responsible for assuring plant performance as per design intent in ADGAS, partnering with internal business stakeholders to tackle plant issues and provide advisory roles for improving plant effectiveness.

Khalfan occupied different role in ADGAS in deferent division starting from maintenance, to engineering and project and finally in performance and reliability. Khalfan is charged to analyze, diagnose, and solve significant plant issues relating primarily to production losses and integrity and reliability events and trends. He is a specialist in process instrumentation and controls engineering. Khalfan facilitates and leads Root Cause Analysis teams. Khalfan is the Independent Competent Person accountable for verification of asset integrity of instrumentation and control systems and equipment.

Dr Paul Rostron

Dr Rostron is assistant professor of chemistry at Khalifa University, at the Petroleum Institute campus in Abu Dhabi. He lectures courses in materials science, general chemistry, physical chemistry HSE; and Corrosion engineering, as well as directing research in corrosion at the Corrosion Research Laboratory. He also delivers residential courses in corrosion around the world. He has over 19 years’ experience teaching to EFL students and has been actively involved in corrosion research for over 20 years. Current research topics include:

• corrosion mapping of the UAE,
• mixing efficiency assessment of two component coatings,
• corrosion rate as a function of pipe expansion ratio for down-hole applications,
• sour gas condensate corrosion mechanism
• Galvanic Corrosion in Ethylene glycol recovery unit
• Pipeline corrosion mechanism modelling
He is President and Chairman the governing board for NACE International (UAE) section, and local board member for the Royal Society of Chemistry.
